Smoking and Alcohol

· Players should under no circumstances partake in the smoking of any substance, including nicotine, or the consumption of alcohol at anytime throughout the duration of matches or training sessions including pre match, half time or full time. If such activities are to be undertaken they must be done so sensibly, with consideration for others and at the appropriate times and in the appropriate location ie in the players lounge/bar and in designated 'smoking area' as directed by the host venue after the match has finished. It is an offence, according to the F.A. to consume alcohol in the immediate vicinity of a football pitch especially on the touch line. Any player under the designated legal age caught taking part in such activities will be subject to disciplinary procedures and may have their player registration cancelled with immediate effect.
