Welcome Back

Welcome back to all the players and parents for what promises to be an exciting season of football and the next step in the development of our lads. As anyone involved in the game will tell you, participating in saturday football is the way forward and will introduce the lads to the habits of the semi-professional or even professional footballer - which hopefully they will all experience at some level in the years ahead so taking the decision to join a quality league such as the Midland Junior Premier League was an easy one to take. This coming season the lads will play quality opposition on quality pitches and will begin to experience and practice the behaviours and routines that are expected from players, both on and off the pitch, within the game of football at the higher level and they will get a taste of what the future holds for them. I know that there will be many changes to get used to such as extra travelling to away games and training on an evening during the week but I know that with the players and parents we have in this team we will all muck in together and help each other wherever possible, change is always difficult but stick with it as the rewards will far outway any problems we face along the way. Remember we are in this together and if you have any concerns or issues then please do not hesitate to call me.
