After a long, hard first season in the Midland Junior Premier Football League I feel it only right to say a huge thank you and well done to a few people.

Firstly to the players for their commitment and dedication to the team, it has been far from easy for them this season and they have had to raise their game every week to compete at what is a very high standard of football but they have stepped up to the mark and in many games have shown that they are more than capable of being able to cope at this level and their individual development and progress is clear for all to see.

Secondly thanks to all of the parents who have travelled many many miles this season to get the lads to the matches. The support for the lads and myself has been fantastic and I thank you all for your commitment to the cause. I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed this new adventure and that you are looking forward to next season.

Finally a big thanks to Jim, Daz and Mick for their help every single Saturday, at matches and Wednesday at training (also to those parents that have helped set up/put away the floodlights etc) their support of myself and the lads has been fantastic and their patience along with their calming influence over me and valued opinions has helped to develop this talented group of players.

Thanks again to you all and I am looking forward to a rest to recharge the batteries before we start again in the summer. The presentation evening is on Saturday June 27th so I look forward to seeing you all then. Have a good summer and Up The Reds !!
